I reread this article to remind myself that there is more to judging quality of early stage software. <\/p>\n<p>2. <a href=\"http:\/\/randsinrepose.com\/archives\/the-process-myth\/\">Kinds of process engineers hate<\/a><br \/>\nI&#8217;ve been trying to get my team to go light on process. The question invariably comes down to how do we identify good process? This Rands in Repose article is a good starting point.<\/p>\n<p>3. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=4Fw5H7GWzog\" data-rel=\"lightbox-video-0\">Edgar Schein talks culture<\/a><br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Edgar_Schein\">Edgar Schein<\/a> is a big, big, big name in the field of culture and organizational psychology. This 18 minute video was eye opening for me. My favorite product to test in my career has been a product that surveys culture in a highly risk conscious industry. Edgar Schein pooh-poohs surveys in general. He also claims engagement surveys are perhaps the only survey worth administering. Its always good to be aware of arguments against your products. <\/p>\n<p>4. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fakingnews.firstpost.com\/2014\/09\/as-mangalyaan-achieves-success-in-its-first-attempt-pressure-builds-on-it-to-settle-and-get-married\/\">Funny fake news about Mangalyaan<\/a><br \/>\nSatire that hit close to home for me. <\/p>\n<p>5. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=Fob8BEvGy_o&#038;feature=player_embedded\" data-rel=\"lightbox-video-1\">Karpov anecdote: May be I am better?<\/a><br \/>\nWisdom from a kid.
